Donations

Rochester Library graciously accepts donations of all kinds. 

Book Donations

We accept donations of new and gently used books, CDs and DVDs.  If we are unable to add them to our collection, they will be added to our “For Sale” shelf.

However, we do not accept textbooks, Reader’s Digest condensed books, old encyclopedia sets, or material that is in poor condition.  We do not want your garbage, if we cannot put it on our shelves, please just recycle the item(s).

Sorry, we are unable to issue tax receipts for material donations.

Financial Donations

We will accept monetary donations.  We will also accept your bottles to be exchanged for cash.  These funds are used for any programs or events offered in our community.  On occasion, we may use donated funds for materials for you to enjoy.

Subscription Donations

One can support the library by purchasing a magazine subscription.  Please check with the library as to what subscriptions are missing in our collection.
